DeepRoute.ai introduces HD map-free intelligent driving solution Driver 3.0

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese autonomous driving solution developer DeepRoute.ai officially introduced the Driver 3.0 intelligent driving solution on March 22, according to its press release.

The new solution no longer relies on HD maps and has no territorial limitations. Vehicles equipped with this technology can now achieve advanced intelligent driving functions across the entire coverage area of navigation maps.

Driver 3.0 is equipped with a more precise perception system that can identify fine-grained road information such as lane lines, traffic signals, road signs, and prompts covered by high-precision maps. Driver 3.0 can also accurately locate the vehicle's position and determine the distance from nearby lane lines. With this technology, smart cars can now use navigation maps that are more cost-effective, providing users with a safe, reliable, free, and smooth driving experience.

Based on the Driver 3.0, DeepRoute.ai also introduced two other intelligent driving products, D-PRO and D-AIR, which will be launched in collaboration with automotive companies in 2023.

D-PRO is a high-level intelligent driving product that provides point-to-point intelligent driving functions across the entire coverage area of navigation maps. In congested city areas, D-PRO can independently plan routes and make driving decisions to complete autonomous and safe driving operations. On the other hand, D-AIR is positioned as a cost-effective product that focuses on auxiliary driving functions, such as automatic cruise control (ACC), lane centering control (LCC), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB). 

The D-AIR features a hardware cost of 7,000 yuan while the D-PRO costs 14,000 yuan.
