ECARX, Great Wall Motor to explore Baidu ERNIE's applications in smart cockpits

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On August 2, Baidu Apollo announced that Great Wall Motor and Geely-backed ECARX have become the first partners to explore the applications of ERNIE, its large language model.

Baidu Apollo, in collaboration with Great Wall Motor and ECARX, has been focusing on in-car interaction scenarios to explore and implement innovative functionalities on production vehicle platforms. Some of these features are expected to debut first on Great Wall Motor, Lynk & Co, and smart's mass-produced models.

During the Auto Shanghai 2023, Baidu Apollo showcased several achievements in large language model applications tailored for in-car scenarios, including travel planning, car consultancy, knowledge-based Q&A, and artistic inspiration.
