Chinese LiDAR solution provider RoboSense starts trading on HKEX
Beijing (Gasgoo)- The Chinese provider of LiDAR and perception systems, RoboSense, commenced trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's main board on January 5 under the code "2498."

The company successfully offered 22.9098 million new shares at HK$43 per share, expecting to raise approximately HK$985 million globally, with a net fundraising of HK$877 million.
The funds raised will facilitate RoboSense's multifaceted advancements. These include intensifying R&D initiatives, refining the product pipeline, expanding the team to support R&D objectives, amplifying sales and marketing strategies, fortifying manufacturing, testing, and validation capacities, allocating resources for operational needs, and exploring potential strategic collaborations.
Established in 2014 and headquartered in Shenzhen, RoboSense specializes in LiDAR and perception solutions. Its closed-loop system, encompassing chipsets, LiDAR platforms, and perception algorithms, delivers intelligent LiDAR systems capable of comprehensive information interpretation.
As of December 18, 2023, RoboSense had secured orders for over 60 production vehicle models from 21 automakers and Tier 1 suppliers, facilitating SOP for 24 models. Major clients of the company include BYD, Geely Auto, GAC AION, Great Wall Motor, XPeng, AITO, Lotus, Lucid, and Leapmotor.
