DENZA officially enters Brazilian market
On November 25 , the BYD's DENZA made its debut at the 31st São Paulo International Motor Show (Salão Internacional do Automóvel de São Paulo 2025) with its flagship models Z9 GT and D9, announcing its official entry into the Brazilian market. The move is regarded as a key milestone in the brand’s internationalization strategy across Latin America.
According to official information, DENZA’s first showroom in Brazil will be located on Avenida Europa in São Paulo, a district widely known as the “luxury automotive hub.” At the event, the brand also released the pre-sale prices for the two models: the DENZA Z9 GT, positioned as a tech-luxury flagship GT, is priced at 650,000 Brazilian reais (approximately 855,000 yuan); the DENZA D9, a tech-luxury all-around flagship MPV, is priced at 800,000 Brazilian reais (approximately 1.05 million yuan).
Schaeffler China logistics center opens in Taicang
On November 25, Schaeffler inaugurated its China logistics center in the city of Taicang, Suzhou, marking a significant step in strengthening the company's domestic supply chain. Serving as a key hub for raw materials for Schaeffler’s Taicang plant and for finished products across China, the new facility represents a major step in strengthening the company’s local supply chain layout, aimed at providing customers with more efficient, faster, and more reliable logistics services.
Located north of Zhengzhou Road in the Taicang High-tech Zone and adjacent to the Suzhou Road plant, the logistics center covers an area of 28,300 square meters and serves as a crucial logistics node for Schaeffler China. The center provides efficient raw-material distribution for the Taicang plant and acts as the centralized distribution hub for finished automotive products from Schaeffler China’s nine factories, supplying customers across nearly 30 provinces and municipalities with automotive bearings, powertrain and chassis components, and electric drive products.
China's EV charging connectors up 54% year-on-year
At a regular State Council policy briefing held by the China State Council Information Office on November 27, Wu Yuetao, Director-General of the Department of Employment, Income Distribution and Consumption at the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), stated that as of the end of October this year, the total number of electric-vehicle charging connectors nationwide had reached 18.645 million—an impressive year-on-year increase of 54%.
China has now built the world's largest, most extensive, and most diverse charging-infrastructure network, providing strong support for the widespread adoption of new-energy vehicles.
He added that further efforts will be made to optimize and improve the charging-infrastructure network layout, addressing challenges such as“difficulty finding chargers”and“difficulty installing chargers in residential communities.”The goal is to accelerate the development of a high-quality charging-infrastructure system and provide greater convenience for residents choosing green mobility.
