Dongfeng Renault sold 37,000 units in the first half of year, accomplishing 60% of annual target

Dongfeng Renault faces a large growth in its sales volume since the two SUV models Kadjar and Koleos have been produced in domestic market. It’s learned that Dongfeng Renault sold more than 37,000 units in the first half of year, exceeding 60% of annual target. Two domestic SUV models reach a total sales volume of 37,460 units, accomplishing 63% of annual target.

Dongfeng Renault plans to accomplish the annual target of 60,000 units and challenge for 70,000 units in 2017. The new Koleos and Kadjar have sales volume of 23,857 units and 13,603 units respectively from January to June this year. The monthly sales volumes for the two models reach 2,840 units and 2,186 units respectively in June.

Dongfeng Renault increased 25 dealership stores in the first half of year, and the number will reach 200 at the end of year.

Renault flagship MPV model ESPACE plans to be officially launched on Chengdu Auto Show this September. It uses the customized power system combining the 1.8T turbocharged engine with 7-speed DCT, proving 5-seat and7-seat layouts. Besides, the middle-and-large-size car Talisman will also introduce a BEV car into the domestic market. The launch of three models will help Dongfeng Renault to challenge the annul target of 80,000 units.
