Production and technology
RoboSense said the Shenzhen location brings technology development, precision manufacturing and customer applications into closer proximity, drawing on supply-chain resources in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Shenzhen's robotics cluster. The facility is intended to support automated, large-scale production of LiDAR sensors for a range of robotics applications.
The company's production system integrates its in-house chips and digital product platform with product development, precision manufacturing and volume delivery.
Production capacity
RoboSense said the new line increases its capacity for volume deliveries.
The line will support RoboSense's plan to build annual digital LiDAR production capacity of 4 million units.
