Top 10 vehicle models by October sales

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Passenger vehicle sales of October increased 0.2 percent to 2.316 million units, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). Generally speaking, the passenger vehicle market didn’t rise markedly in year-on-year growth or month-on-month increase.

Among the top 20 models by sales, there were 9 of them which decreased in sales. Even though more than half of the models sold over 30,000 units, only the sales of the first three models were more than 40,000 units. Baojun 310, Geely Boyue, Tiguan and Cavalier managed to achieve substantial sales growth. 

Last month, sedans fell out of top 3 models by sales. With a monthly sale record of 49,000 units, Haval H6 was the best seller among all the passenger vehicles in October. Wuling Hongguang returned to the top 3 models by sales. Sylphy fell to the fourth with 38,500 units sold.
