Top 10 models by February sales in China

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- According to the sales data released by the China Passenger Car Association, most models suffered month-on-month sales decline with different degrees affected by the Spring Festival. Among the top 10 models by February sales, Boyue and Bora newly entered into the list, ranking seventh and tenth. However, some regulars like Sagitar, Sylphy and Jetta dropped out of the top 10 list last month.

Hongguang, surpassing Baojun 510 and Haval H6, became the champion by monthly sales with 42,069 vehicles delivered in February. The sales of Baojun 510 outnumbered Haval H6 for the first time with a dramatic year-on-year sales growth of 395.44% to 40,061 units and became the bestseller in China’s SUV segment. Haval H6 occupied the third place with its sales decreasing 10.19% year on year to 30,253 units. 

What’s more, Lavida (also the sales champion in sedan segment) and Corolla were still on the top 10 sales list with their rankings reversed compared to the previous month. Lavida dropped 1 place to the fifth, while Corolla moved up 1 place to the fourth.

Among the last 5 models on the top 10 list, Tiguan and Roewe RX5, ranking sixth and eighth, achieved outstanding year-on-year sales growth of 193.15% and 73.1% respectively. Both models did not enter into the top10 list in January.
