Changan Auto to showcase new CS75, all-new EADO XT at Auto China 2018

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The Chinese automaker Chongqing Changan will showcase the new CS75, the all-new EADO XT, the second-generation EADO EV460 and the CS75 PHEV at the Auto China 2018 in Beijing, according to local media.

New CS75

The new CS75 offers various exterior options to consumers. The new model measures 4,650mm in length, 1,850mm in width and 1,695mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,700mm.

The new CS75 features an all-new banner-shaped front face decorated with chrome trims. In the lower part of the front end, the fog lights look very dynamic. Meanwhile, an ACC (adaptive cruise control) radar probe exists inside the lower grille.

At the rear end, a LED taillight strip composed of 33 LED chips delivers a conspicuous visual effect. The exhaust pipes (two outlets for each pipe) on both sides of the rear end provide a dynamic sense and the silver bottom fender gives an adventurist feeling.

Featuring quite a few flat and straight lines inside the vehicle, the CS75 is equipped with a 10.25-cun (around 13.45-inch) full liquid crystal instrument panel and a floating console. In addition, many of physical buttons have been removed which makes the cockpit look more luxurious.

The new CS75 possesses a number of technology configurations, such as automatic parking system, push-to-start button, keyless entry, ACC system, LDW system (lane departure warning), LCA system (lane change assist), EDR (event data recorder) as well as panoramic camera, etc.

The new model will be powered by a 1.5T-GDI engine (gasoline direct injection) which can output a maximum power of 131kW and deliver a peak torque of 265Nm when the rotational speed reaches 1450 RPM. With a combined fuel consumption of 6.5L per 100km, the powertrain system is mated with a third-generation Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission and offers manual variants as well.

All-new EADO XT

The all-new EADO XT features a three-spoke intake grille that is larger than that of existing models. The new model seemingly abandons the chrome trims for its lower grille.

Reportedly, the all-new EADO XT will be equipped with newly-designed sport hubs. Moreover, the new model has been considerably upgraded in both configurations and craftsmanship of the interior.

The new model will still carry a 1.6L naturally aspirated engine with a maximum output of 94kW and a peak torque of 168Nm and is expected to have 1.5L turbocharged engine in the future.
