Geely Auto delivers 500,000th Boyue

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Geely Auto has already handed over its 500,000th unit of the SUV model Boyue, according to local media.

As the last SUV model of Geely Auto 3.0 Era, the cumulative deliveries of the Boyue reached 500,000 units recently since it hit the market in March, 2016. On March 15 this year, the 2018 Geely Boyue went on sale with official suggested price ranging from RMB 98,800 to RMB 159,800.

The 2018 Geely Boyue has been optimized and upgraded in appearance, security as well as intelligent configurations. Besides, the new model is equipped with the GKUI (Geely Smart Ecosystem), which possesses diverse functional configurations like intelligent speech interaction, socialized navigation system, and so on.

On May 4, Geely Auto and the world-leading energy company Shell jointly initiated the journey dubbed “Challenge of spanning 100°in longitude ” with the aim of demonstrating the Geely Boyue's extraordinary performance and signifying the cooperative importance between Geely and Shell. Reportedly, in the next two months, a fleet comprising four vehicles of the Boyue will start from Xi'an, Shaanxi province, pass through Russia, Belarus and France and finally arrive in the UK.

In November last year, the first foreign-made Boyue rolled off the production line in the plant of Barysaw, Belarus and hit the market in Moscow in February. In addition, the first model co-developed by Geely Auto and Proton is set to go on sale in the second half of this year.
