August, 2024 auto sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 157,794 units, down 18.00% year on year, the first on August, 2024 auto sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Toyota amounted to 130,286 units, down 10.22% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 890,743 units. August sales of Tesla reached 86,697 units, increasing 3.02% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 587,437 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
