BYTON first electric SUV to be mass produced in 2019

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Harmony Group announced on December 15th, that the test sample of BYTON's first electric SUV would show up at the coming International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas and start to take orders. The first production model of BYTON, the brand of Future Mobility Corporation Limited (FMC) will be mass produced and officially launched in 2019.

Previous news shows that the first mass production model of BYTON is actually developed for the market of China, US and Europe. The new model will be equipped with a touch screen, whose size is similar to that of Apple iPad and an in-vehicle screen which is 125cm long, 25cm long and will cross the whole width of the vehicle.

Currently, FMC has offices in Nanjing, Beijing, Hong Kong, Munich and Silicon Valley. In January 2017, FMC signed an agreement with Nanjing Development Zone to build a high-end intelligent electric vehicle R & D and manufacturing base with a planned total annual output of 300,000 smart electric vehicles, including SUV, cars and MPV, in Nanjing Development Zone.

Based in Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone (Nanjing ETDZ), BYTON will receive various supports from Nanjing ETDZ in terms of policy, finance and business, as well as various resources. BYTON Intelligent Electric Vehicle Industrial Park has been included in the major projects of Jiangsu Province, and has been supported as well as attached great importance to by the provincial and municipal governments.
