Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Denza and Shouqi Limousine and Chauffeur, a Chinese car-hailing platform established a strategic cooperative partnership on Jan. 3. Through upgrading the traditional car-hailing service, both parties aim to build up green mobility ecology for online NEV-hailing service and offer high-quality, safe and comfortable green car-hailing experience for high-end customers.
On Jan. 3, their grand vehicle delivery and operating ceremony also kicked off in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Both parties announced that they will put thousands of Denza 400 EVs into operation in such cities as Guangzhou and Hangzhou, etc. Among them, 1,000 vehicles will officially hit the roads in Guangzhou. Currently, Denza models are available for Hangzhou consumers, and soon will be available for Guangzhou consumers.
Shouqi Limousine and Chauffeur, a leading Chinese car-hailing platform, backed by state-owned automobile enterprise Shouqi Group and Beijing Xianglong Taxi Co., Ltd., has achieved certificate of off-line service across 42 cities in China, was acknowledged by 27 Chinese cities as China's first legal car-hailing platform, and also obtained all three legal licenses needed in 21 Chinese cities.
Denza, a medium and high-end NEV JV jointly invested by BYD and Daimler, has owned the most premium standard for battery, electric motor and electric control system. Besides, Denza owns an electric model, which is the first EV to achieve a Five-Star crash test result by C-NCAP. Targeting medium and high-end NEV market, Denza has launched only one model since it was establised in 2010. According to the released data, Denza sold 894 vehicles in November, 2017 and 3,506 vehicles from January to November, 2017.
Based on their same , Denza and Shouqi Limousine and Chauffeur's strategic cooperation will not only facilitate Shouqi Limousine and Chauffeur to lead the high-end NEV-hailing service market, but also enable Denza to gain more market shares in medium and high-end NEV market in China.
