Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Ning Shuyong, former general executive vice president of market and communication of Qoros, has reportedly joined Great Wall Motor (GWM) to act the role of the group's vice president and will report directly to Wang Fengying, president of GWM.
It is said that Ning Shuyong will not only take the post of GWM's vice president, but also will take charge of GWM's new energy vehicle (NEV) and pickup divisions, with duties including sales, channels, and brands as well as market communication.
Ning Shuyong, once a media journalist in Xinhua Press, has joined Motorola in 1999 and did a good job during his tenure in the phone company until 2003. In 2003, Ning Shuyong joined Sony Ericsson, which suffered sales sluggish at that time, and helped the company turn losses into profits. In January, 2006, the 37-year Ning Shuyong was promoted as the vice president and spokesman of Sony Ericsson China.
