Lynk & Co 01 PHEV to hit market tonight with price range between RMB 240,000 and RMB 270,000

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The Lynk & Co 01 PHEV, Lynk & Co's first plug-in hybrid electric SUV, will hit the market at around 20:15 on July 27. As disclosed previously, the 01 PHEV will be priced between RMB 240,000 and RMB 270,000 before subsidies.

Having been presented at Auto China 2018, the new model basically inherits the exterior and interior of its gasoline-powered version, adding a battery charging port at its left front fender and bearing a "PHEV" badge at its rear end.

As to interior, the new model retains Lynk & Co's iconic design language, featuring a large-size center console and a three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel. The model's interior is colored with brown, white and black, looking very simple and stylish.

The new model will be outfitted with a plug-in hybrid powertrain combining a 1.5 T three-cylinder engine with a battery pack, mated with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Specifically, the1.5T engine has a maximum power output of 132kW and a peak torque of 265Nm. Its electric motor boasts a maximum power output of 60kW and a peak torque of 160Nm. Under the pure electric mode, the model's maximum range can reach 51km.

As planned, apart from the 01 PHEV, Lynk & Co will also release the Lynk & Co 02 PHEV and the 03 PHEV in the second half of this year, and will introduce HEV models in 2019.

It is known that the Lynk & Co 01 PHEV will be Lynk & Co's first NEV model to enter into the European market. Moreover, the model is planned to hit the European market in the first half of 2020.
