The All Technology Routes means that MAXUS will adhere to the parallel development in three routes of all-electric, hybrid power and fuel cell technologies.

As to the pure electric technology, SAIC MAXUS will develop crucial battery system and electric drive system. It is expected that the energy density of the battery will reach 260Wh/kg in 2023 so that a large-size all-electric vehicle with a range of over 600 kilometers can be provided.

The drive system efficiency of MAXUS HEV model is aimed to attain 92% with more than 65-km range in all-electric mode. In hybrid power one, it will reach 51%.

In terms of fuel cells, MAXUS’s self-developed second-generation stack system is supposed to have a peak output of 115kw by 2020. They will be first applied to the medium and large sized MPV models with 3-minuite refueling, likely to provide over 650 kilometers of range.

SAIC MAXUS will launch more than 20 NEV models before the end of 2025 as three technology routes develop. Relying on the All Platforms, SAIC MAXUS will not only introduce the model for commercial use, but also cover personal and group mobility with EUNIQ series. Meanwhile, it plans to develop autonomous driving technology for both commercial and passenger vehicles.

With regards to All Markets, products of SAIC MAXUS are on sale across 48 countries and regions in the world. It will also offer MAXUS EUNIO to the European market next year.

Besides, MAXUS’s first all-electric MPV for family use, the EUNIQ 5, rolled off the production line on Sep. 26 with after-subsidy price between 169,800 and 213,800 yuan ($23,781-$29,944) and a maximum NEDC-rated range of 350km.
