Since unveiling the brand in February, Linghui Auto has moved quickly to expand its retail network and product lineup. Following the launch of the A-segment e7 sedan in April, the introduction of the C-segment e9 in May reflects the company's aggressive product cadence and broader push to establish itself in both consumer and commercial mobility markets.
Launched in 2026, Linghui Auto operates as an independent sub-brand under BYD Group, targeting both fleet-oriented business customers and private household users through a dedicated sales and distribution network.
The brand represents BYD's fifth automobile marque following the Dynasty and Ocean series, FANGCHENGBAO, DENZA, and YANGWANG. Its positioning centers on delivering accessible, high-quality vehicles designed to serve a wide range of mobility scenarios.
The Linghui e9 is positioned to address four primary usage scenarios: family transportation, premium ride-hailing services, government and corporate fleets, and business hospitality applications. Linghui Auto said the vehicle is intended to appeal to a broad customer base ranging from private owners and ride-hailing operators to public-sector and enterprise users.
The Linghui e9 is offered in three variants — the 535 Luxury Edition, 605 FLASH-Charging Luxury Edition, and 605 FLASH-Charging Flagship Edition — with official pricing ranging from 150,800 yuan to 169,800 yuan.

In terms of design, the e9 adopts a business-oriented exterior style featuring a large matrix grille and full-width lighting elements intended to emphasize a premium executive appearance. LED headlamps incorporate dynamic lighting effects that activate during vehicle unlocking, while exterior color options include black and gray finishes aimed at reinforcing the sedan's upscale positioning.

Inside the cabin, the Linghui e9 features an amber-brown interior theme paired with leather-trimmed surfaces and a column-mounted electronic shifter. With dimensions measuring 4,995 mm in length, 1,940 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, along with a 2,920 mm wheelbase, the sedan offers a spacious C-segment cabin designed to prioritize rear-seat comfort.
The model also includes a 485-liter trunk intended to accommodate airport-transfer and business-travel luggage requirements, underscoring its focus on professional mobility services.
Comfort and convenience features include a rear touchscreen climate-control system, privacy glass for second-row passengers, and a panoramic sunroof. The vehicle also supports cloud-based remote functions, smartphone NFC digital keys, and 50W wireless fast charging, reflecting the growing integration of intelligent cockpit technologies in China's mainstream EV market.
The e9 is equipped with BYD's FLASH Charging technology and second-generation Blade Battery system. According to the company, the vehicle can achieve substantial charging replenishment in five minutes and a near-full charge in nine minutes, with charging times in temperatures as low as minus 30 degrees Celsius extending by only an additional three minutes.
Linghui Auto said the technology is intended to reduce charging downtime for high-frequency commercial operations while also easing range and charging anxiety for private users. The second-generation Blade Battery has also undergone rigorous nail penetration and thermal propagation testing to enhance safety performance.
To support rapid charging adoption, BYD said it is continuing to expand its nationwide flash-charging infrastructure network in China, with plans to build 20,000 FLASH Charging stations by the end of 2026. The company aims to make ultra-fast charging more widely accessible as part of its broader EV ecosystem strategy.
On the intelligent driving front, the e9 comes equipped with BYD's "God's Eye" (TianShen Zhi Yan) driver-assistance system. The vehicle integrates 26 sensors, including millimeter-wave radar, ultrasonic radar, and multiple high-definition cameras, to create a comprehensive perception system.
The system supports highway navigation assistance functions such as ramp entry and exit, autonomous lane changes, overtaking, adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and obstacle avoidance under high-speed driving scenarios. Linghui Auto said the various assistance functions are designed to operate with seamless transitions to reduce driver workload during long-distance travel and commercial operations.
The Linghui e9 uses a front MacPherson and rear five-link suspension setup paired with FSD variable damping shock absorbers capable of automatically adjusting damping force based on road conditions. According to the company, the configuration is designed to balance ride comfort, handling stability, and passenger refinement, particularly for executive transport and premium mobility applications.
