Gasgoo Munich- During the 7th China Liaoning International Investment and Trade Fair, BYD Battery signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Yingkou municipal government, and separately with the Liaoyang government and Xiamen Xiangyu Group. The partnerships target zero-carbon demonstration projects, new-energy supply chain synergy, and logistics electrification.

Under the Yingkou pact, both sides will advance the "Future Zero-Carbon Port City" initiative — a national-level smart energy and green transportation demonstration project. To electrify port-area transport, they will scale up pure-electric heavy trucks for short-haul container drayage and steel-plant transfers, backed by integrated solar-storage-charging stations. On the zero-carbon front, the plan calls for integrated source-grid-load-storage systems and carbon-emission monitoring platforms. The partners will also push battery recycling to build a green circular industrial system for the port area. Next up, Yingkou will map out application scenarios across ports, steel mills, and industrial parks, teaming up with BYD Battery to draft an annual construction schedule.
That same day, BYD Battery, the Liaoyang government, and Xiamen Xiangyu Group signed a three-way strategic framework agreement. Drawing on Xiangyu's aluminum supply chain, the trio will expand ties in battery structural parts, body components, and new-material supply — while jointly exploring integrated "new-energy heavy truck plus solar-storage-charging" solutions. To keep the collaboration on track, they will establish a mechanism for annual high-level talks, dedicated task forces, and information sharing.
