Shanghai (Gasgoo)- BYD and Changan Automobile will ink a strategic cooperation agreement and a cooperation framework agreement on establishing a battery joint venture on July 5 in Shenzhen. By virtue of both parties' advantageous resources in new energy, intelligent technologies, overseas markets and sharing mobility areas, BYD and Changan will deepen their cooperation ranging from businesses to capital.
This is not the first cooperation between BYD and Changan. Early on Apr. 17, Changan and BYD had jointly signed a framework agreement on development and cooperation in electric motor segment, saying that both parties would conduct deep cooperation in new energy vehicle (NEV) area to contribute to the development of China's NEV industry.
