Design and dimensions
The Da Han EV adopts a design inspired by traditional Chinese flying-eaves architecture. Its front end features a 2.41-meter-wide integrated light strip described as a “Dawn” daytime running light. The sedan measures 5,256 mm in length and has a 3,130 mm wheelbase. BYD gives its drag coefficient as 0.197.
Interior and comfort
The interior is available in multiple color schemes and features a 3K-resolution central touchscreen and Nappa leather seats. Both front seats offer a zero-gravity design and powered leg rests.
Battery, range and charging
The Da Han EV is equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and offers a maximum CLTC-rated range of 1,008 km. BYD’s flash-charging technology is standard across the lineup. The automaker says charging from 10% to 70% takes five minutes, while reaching 97% takes nine minutes. At temperatures as low as -30°C, charging time increases by just three minutes, according to BYD.
Chassis and driver assistance
The entire Da Han EV lineup comes standard with BYD’s DiSus-A dual-chamber air suspension, rear-wheel steering and God’s Eye B driver-assistance system with LiDAR. BYD says 196 key features are included as standard. The four-wheel-drive version has a claimed 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds. Rear-wheel steering is also designed to improve maneuverability.
