Gasgoo Munich-On August 1 that BYD released its latest sales figures, showing the group's sales totaled 419,211 vehicles in July. Passenger vehicle sales reached 411,072 units, highlighting the company's strong market position.
Globally, BYD's globalization strategy is achieving breakthroughs. In July, overseas sales of passenger vehicles and pickups hit 179,841 units — a 124.3% surge from a year earlier. This extends the company's recent trend of rapid growth and marks a new record high.

By brand, the Dynasty | Ocean series remained the main drivers, moving 350,178 units. The Fang Cheng Bao brand contributed 41,213 vehicles, while Denza sold 19,196 units and Yangwang moved 485. This multi-brand matrix operates in synergy to capture demand across the spectrum, from the mass market to the high-end luxury sector.
For cumulative performance, BYD Group sold 2,227,722 vehicles from January through July 2026. Of that total, overseas sales of passenger vehicles and pickups reached 969,208 units. By the end of July, cumulative sales of BYD's new energy vehicles had surpassed 17.3 million, further cementing its leadership position in the global NEV market.
Notably, the share of overseas sales continues to climb, accounting for more than 40% of the total in July. As BYD deepens its international footprint and rolls out new models, its global expansion is set to accelerate. Against the backdrop of a booming NEV industry, the company is steadily expanding its global market share, leveraging its technological edge and competitive product lineup.
