Gasgoo Munich-Gasgoo has learned that the 19th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition is set to open on April 24. FAW-Audi plans to unveil a lineup of heavy-hitting models at the event, showcasing both its deep technical expertise and its latest product refreshes.

Reports indicate the Audi R26 F1 show car will take center stage, reflecting the brand's official entry into Formula 1 this year and its debut at the Chinese Grand Prix. Meanwhile, the high-performance flagship SUV, the new Audi SQ8, is set to hit the market. Powered by a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine and featuring a coupe-like sloping roofline, the SQ8 blends performance with elegance. Additionally, the new Audi S5 Avant will make its Chinese debut, emphasizing its performance pedigree and wagon styling.
Joining these models, the FAW-Audi A5L, the all-new Audi A6L, the all-new Audi Q5L, the Audi A6L e-tron, and the Audi Q6L e-tron family will also be on display. The automaker says it is advancing a strategy to integrate ICE and EV development with smart technology. Leveraging the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) and the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), FAW-Audi is upgrading both its internal combustion and electric lineups with intelligent features. Notably, the all-new Audi Q5L—positioned as the world's first luxury ICE SUV to feature Huawei’s Qiankun intelligent driving system—will open pre-orders for the tech ahead of the show.
FAW-Audi emphasized that, drawing on 38 years of localization experience and a user-centric philosophy, the company is driving the evolution of smart luxury mobility through a comprehensive product matrix and cutting-edge technology. Visitors can view the lineup at the FAW-Audi booth in the Capital International Exhibition Center during the 2026 Beijing Auto Show.
