Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On Jan. 13, GAC AION said its all-new compact SUV, the AION i60, has sold more than 10,000 units since its launch on Nov. 16, 2025 — making it the only 100,000-yuan-class SUV offering both BEV and range-extended powertrains to exceed 10,000 first-month deliveries in that period.

Data show the i60 delivered 10,804 units in its first full month on sale (December 2025), with the range-extended variant accounting for about 24%, or 2,642 units. The result not only signals quick acceptance of AION's first range-extended model, it also adds momentum to GAC Group's "Panyu Action" transformation strategy.
The AION i60 comes in both battery-electric and range-extended versions, with a limited-time introductory price starting at 104,800 yuan. The range-extended model offers a CLTC combined range of 1,240 km and 210 km on pure electric power, with fuel use of just 5.5 L/100 km once the battery is depleted; the BEV version delivers up to 650 km of range and supports 3C fast charging, adding 30%–80% in 15 minutes.
Inside, it features 8-point massaging front lounge seats, rear seats adjustable to 137°, a panoramic glass roof and a GSD highway NDA driver-assistance system — blending comfort with intelligence.
GAC AION said the i60's strong demand validates its ""technology for all + scenario precision"" approach. With the Spring Festival travel rush approaching, the i60 now offers trade-in support of up to 21,200 yuan and 5,000 yuan in finance subsidies, along with a "triple-compensation for fire incidents" peace-of-mind guarantee — measures that could support steady sales.
The company also revealed that a new model, the AION N60, developed from user feedback, will debut later this year, further rounding out its "good car for the people" lineup.
