Gasgoo Munich-BYD's Ocean Series officially launched the 2027 Seal 06 on August 11, with official guide prices ranging from 99,900 to 155,900 yuan. Positioned as a fully equipped B-segment sedan, the new model offers both pure electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains across 12 variants.

Visually, the 2027 Seal 06 adopts a fresh "Ocean Aesthetics" design language. Its closed front face features fluid, dynamic lines, while the "Chasing Wave Galaxy" headlights and a minimalist waistline give the vehicle a stance poised to cut through the wind and waves.
Measuring 4,870mm by 1,890mm by 1,495mm with a wheelbase of 2,820mm, the sedan offers five exclusive exterior colors: Warm Sun White, Extreme Tide Green, Cloud Sea Gray, Snow Domain White, and Atlantis Gray. Inside, buyers can choose between two new color schemes: Twilight Blue and Sea Salt Gray.

The cabin features a streamlined design with soft leather wrapping across the upper trim. Paired with surround ambient lighting, it creates an upscale interior atmosphere.
The smart cockpit centers on a 15.6-inch infotainment screen running a full-spec DeepSeek system with voice interaction support. It also comes equipped with a 12-inch W-HUD and 50-watt wireless phone charging as standard.

On the powertrain front, the EV variant features a native flash-charging platform and second-generation Blade Battery, delivering a CLTC range of up to 630km. The motor now boasts a peak output of 240kW, enabling a 0-100km/h sprint in 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 190km/h.
Charging capabilities are robust: the flash-charge technology can take the battery from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes, or to 97% in 9 minutes. Even in temperatures as low as -30°C, the charging time increases by a mere 3 minutes.
The 2027 Seal 06 DM-i utilizes fifth-generation DM technology paired with a substantial 34kWh battery. It offers a CLTC pure electric range of up to 320km and a fuel consumption as low as 2.59L per 100km under depleted battery conditions (NEDC). Combined range reaches a maximum of 2,370km.
For autonomous driving, the 2027 Seal 06 employs a dual strategy: standard and high-spec. The base model comes standard with "God's Eye C," a system that fuses pure vision with millimeter-wave radar—eschewing LiDAR—to support highway navigation. It can handle on-ramp and off-ramp navigation, lane keeping, cruising, autonomous lane changes, and obstacle avoidance on highways and urban expressways.
Across the lineup, over 20 driver-assistance features come standard, including valet parking and automatic emergency braking.
Higher trims offer an optional "God's Eye B - LiDAR Assisted Driving Edition." This package adds a high-precision LiDAR to the existing triple-camera setup, expanding driving assistance capabilities from highway scenarios to city navigation for those seeking advanced features.

Comfort and safety see comprehensive upgrades. The vehicle is equipped with the DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system, which uses road preview technology to actively adjust suspension damping based on real-time conditions, effectively filtering out bumps. Front seats feature electric adjustment, heating, ventilation, and massage.
Furthermore, the entire lineup comes standard with a high-speed blowout stability control system, allowing the vehicle to remain stable and on course even after a tire blowout at speeds up to 140km/h.
