Gasgoo Munich- Aeroht and the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE officially signed a strategic partnership agreement on September 18, 2026. Under the full supervision of the General Civil Aviation Authority, the two parties will jointly establish an advanced air mobility regulatory sandbox platform in the UAE. Simultaneously, they are launching the overall planning and implementation of a cross-emirate demonstration route connecting Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah.

Leveraging this sandbox, Aeroht will conduct systematic flight tests tailored to typical Middle Eastern scenarios. The focus will be on gathering core data on power performance and endurance under extreme conditions such as high heat and sandstorms, ensuring the aircraft completes localization verification. The company will also assess commercial viability for applications like tourism and urban shuttles. Meanwhile, the cross-emirate demonstration route will host routine test flights within the sandbox, aiming to streamline cross-airspace coordination and route approvals—key steps to validating the flying car’s ability to operate across different zones. Notably, Aeroht's "Land Carrier" flying car completed a dual-formation flight demonstration in Abu Dhabi on September 17.
Regarding overseas expansion, Aeroht partnered with Serbia in 2026 to develop a smart demonstration zone for the low-altitude economy in Central and Eastern Europe. Tapping into the global network of parent XPENG Inc., the company has also showcased its products across North America, Europe, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
