Gasgoo Munich- Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving laid out its roadmap for the Harmony cockpit on July 16, detailing a phased schedule for over-the-air updates. The company also confirmed that the Epicland X9, a flagship SUV, will be the first to feature the Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 system alongside the next-generation HarmonySpace 6 cockpit.
Huawei outlined a five-stage evolution for its Harmony cockpit, anchored by the MoLA intelligent assistant. The system will progress from basic command execution and task support to professional services and personalized butler functions, ultimately achieving full-scenario autonomous capabilities. Spanning seven key areas—including secure connectivity, high-end interaction, AI assistance, and in-car entertainment—the upgrades leverage the Harmony kernel and intelligent agents to shift the cabin logic from passive response to proactive service.
Over the next year, the Harmony cockpit is set to undergo several major OTA updates. In July 2026, version HS V5.2 will roll out, introducing scenario-based intelligent agents and enhanced audio-visual features. By September and October, version HS V6.0 will follow, adding in-cabin fused perception and new IP themes. The cycle continues into the first quarter of 2027 with HS V6.1, which will debut Active Suggestion 2.0 to bolster the cabin's autonomous decision-making and predictive service capabilities.
As the flagship for these technologies, the Epicland X9 integrates Huawei's full suite of intelligent and safety systems. It features the "Sky Dome Smart Shield" architecture, setting comprehensive safety standards across smart driving, body structure, battery integrity, and health monitoring—all designed around a philosophy of proactive risk prevention.
