The two companies will collaborate on intelligent automotive domain fusion control technology to jointly promote the development of intelligent vehicles.
Oritek is China's first provider of third-generation E/E architecture-based system-level SoC chips and solutions for intelligent vehicles. It offers a range of system-level, serialized chips and solutions based on the third-generation Zonal architecture for intelligent vehicles.
JOYNEXT, on the other hand, specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of products in the fields of smart cockpits, intelligent vehicle interconnectivity, intelligent driving, smart cloud, and software value-added services.
The partnership will accelerate the evolution of the automotive E/E architecture towards the third-generation Zonal architecture, benefiting both companies.
Under the cooperation, JOYNEXT and Oritek will focus on intelligent vehicles and the next generation of E/E architecture, promoting the use of unified open CPUs and operating systems (OS), and constructing perception and computation in key computing nodes through a simpler hierarchical E/E architecture.
At the same time, the duo aims to shorten the development and implementation time for new products and features, achieving optimal cost, software reuse, and upgradability on an elastic E/E architecture foundation.
