At this year's CIIE, in addition to presenting its square-shaped HEV batteries for Toyota, Panasonic's automotive business segment is placing a strong focus on in-car electronic devices, including in-car cameras, head-up displays (HUD), electronic rearview mirrors, and more. In response to the demands of the domestic market, a local team has independently developed an integrated smart cabin solution that emphasizes comfort, said the company.

In the field of new energy vehicle components, Panasonic offers a diverse range of 35 in-car components known for their small size, lightweight, and low power consumption. Tetsuro Homma, Panasonic Holdings Corporation Representative Director and Executive Vice President Group Regional Head for China & Northeast Asia, revealed that Panasonic boasts six R&D centers, 18 manufacturing sites, and 18 sales points in China to cater to the complex and rapidly evolving Chinese market in terms of in-car components.
