On May 27, 2026, HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) officially launched the All-New AITO M9. Featuring 140 vehicle-wide technological innovations and more than 40 industry-first technologies, the flagship SUV delivers comprehensive upgrades across intelligent driving, the powertrain, cockpit, and chassis systems. By the day of the launch event, cumulative pre-orders had exceeded 70,000 units, with firm orders exceeding 11,000 within the first hour of market release.
The All-New AITO M9 is available in both Range Extender Electric Vehicle (REEV) and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) variants, with a choice of five-seat and six-seat layouts. Compared with its predecessor, the most significant upgrade is the extensive deployment of Huawei's full-stack automotive technologies. From the electric drive system and intelligent driving platform to the intelligent cockpit and chassis, virtually all core vehicle systems are led and developed by Huawei.
Powertrain & Charging: Huawei Intelligent Power 800V High-Voltage Dual-Silicon-Carbide Platform
The All-New AITO M9 is the first model to adopt Huawei's Intelligent Power Full-800V High-Voltage Dual-Silicon-Carbide (SiC) Power Platform across the entire lineup.
The REEV variant is equipped with a 1.5T range extender manufactured by Chongqing Seres Power, while the BEV version adopts a dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration. The flagship Ultimate Extended-Wheelbase model has been upgraded to a tri-motor AWD system, delivering a combined output of 903 hp and accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 3.99 seconds, according to official figures.
In terms of battery systems, the BEV variant is equipped with a 120 kWh CATL Qilin Battery, providing a CLTC-rated driving range of 750 km. The REEV model is offered with 60 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs, achieving a maximum CLTC combined driving range of 1,405 km.
All variants support 800V high-voltage fast charging. The REEV version can recharge its battery from 20% to 80% in just 15 minutes. CATL serves as the exclusive battery supplier for the AITO M9.

Intelligent Driving: Six-LiDAR Array and Huawei Qiankun ADS 5.0
Intelligent driving represents one of the most significant upgrades in the All-New AITO M9. Every variant comes standard with 40 intelligent driving sensors and features a six-LiDAR configuration consisting of dual forward-facing redundant LiDARs and four solid-state LiDARs providing full-surround coverage. The vehicle is the first to debut Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 5.0, together with the All-Dimensional Collision Avoidance 5.0, while incorporating pre-embedded L3-level hardware redundancy.
The LiDAR units are developed in-house by Huawei. Combined with Huawei's perception and computing architecture, the intelligent driving system supports a comprehensive range of advanced driver assistance functions, including Highway Navigation on Autopilot (Highway NOA), Urban Navigation on Autopilot (Urban NOA), and Parking Space-to-Parking Space Navigation.
Intelligent Cockpit: HarmonyOS Cockpit 4.0 and HUAWEI SOUND Audio System
The All-New AITO M9 features Huawei's latest HarmonyOS Cockpit 4.0, centered around an integrated triple-screen panoramic display across the front cabin. New additions include a dual-focal-plane AR Head-Up Display (AR-HUD) and a 32-inch laser projection display, delivering 54% higher brightness than the previous generation.
For the audio system, the standard model is equipped with the HUAWEI SOUND Extraordinary Series, featuring 39 speakers, while the flagship Ultimate Extended-Wheelbase variant upgrades the system to 43 speakers.
Deep integration with the HarmonyOS ecosystem enables seamless connectivity and cross-device collaboration between the vehicle and Huawei smartphones, tablets, and other smart devices, providing a more intuitive and connected in-vehicle user experience.

Chassis & Body: Huawei Tuling Fully Active Intelligent Chassis
The All-New AITO M9 is equipped with the Huawei Tuling Fully Active Intelligent Chassis, featuring a front double-wishbone and rear five-link all-aluminum suspension architecture. Standard across the lineup are closed dual-chamber air suspension and dual-valve Continuous Damping Control (CDC) adaptive dampers, delivering enhanced ride comfort and handling performance.
All variants are equipped with ±8° rear-wheel steering as standard, enabling an official minimum turning radius of 5.1 meters and supporting a maximum 8° Crab Walk mode for improved maneuverability in tight spaces.
The body structure incorporates integrated aluminum die-casting technology, with high-strength materials accounting for 91% of the vehicle structure. The vehicle achieves a drag coefficient (Cd) of just 0.249, among the lowest in the full-size SUV segment, while its official 100–0 km/h braking distance is 34.77 meters.
Supply Chain Insights: Huawei's Full-Stack In-House Development and Collaboration with Leading Suppliers
The All-New AITO M9 adopts a highly integrated supply chain strategy centered around Huawei's full-stack automotive technologies.
On the powertrain side, the Huawei Intelligent Power 800V platform and electric drive system are developed in-house by Huawei, while CATL serves as the exclusive battery supplier. The 1.5T range extender is supplied by Chongqing Seres Power.
For intelligent driving, the Huawei Qiankun ADS 5.0 platform, the six-LiDAR sensor array, and the intelligent driving chips are all developed by Huawei. In the cockpit domain, HarmonyOS Cockpit 4.0 and the HUAWEI SOUND audio system are likewise provided by Huawei. On the chassis side, the Huawei Tuling Intelligent Chassis is centrally managed by Huawei's XMC Digital Chassis Control Engine, enabling coordinated control across multiple chassis subsystems.
This architecture places virtually all of the AITO M9's core vehicle technologies under Huawei's technology portfolio. While such a highly integrated approach enhances system-level optimization and improves integration efficiency, it also increases supplier concentration risk within the vehicle's core technology stack.
From an industry perspective, the All-New AITO M9 highlights Huawei's continued evolution from a traditional Tier 2 technology supplier toward a Tier 0.5 system integrator, representing a markedly different supply chain model from conventional vehicles that rely on multiple independent Tier 1 suppliers for key vehicle systems.
To better understand the technological strengths of this flagship high-performance SUV, Gasgoo has compiled a comprehensive overview of the core component suppliers behind the All-New AITO M9. We also welcome industry professionals to share insights and contribute to the continuous refinement of this supplier mapping.
