From "In China, for China" to "In China, for the World"
A key focus of Ford's presence this year is its evolving China strategy, shifting from "In China, for China" to "In China, for the World." The company plans to take products developed and manufactured in China to international markets.
The all-new Ford Transit City electric commercial vehicle rolled off the production line in August. Developed through collaboration between Ford China, local industry partners and the automaker's global engineering teams, the model is planned for export to 52 countries and regions across five continents.

The Ford Bronco New Energy, the first new energy vehicle model in the Bronco family, is another example of collaboration between Chinese and international teams. Positioned as an all-terrain SUV for camping and outdoor activities, it offers both battery-electric and extended-range powertrain options.
Expanding Outdoor Mobility Experiences
Other key models on display include the classic Ford Bronco, the new Ford Explorer, the Lincoln Aviator and the Lincoln Navigator.
Ford and Lincoln have also updated their vehicle purchase offers during the CIIE.
Integrating China into Ford's Global Operations
Ford China said the Chinese market has become part of the company's global innovation and manufacturing system. The automaker is leveraging local supply chains to develop electrified vehicles that address the diverse needs of domestic customers, while using its global distribution network to bring China-developed models to overseas markets. This approach allows capabilities developed in China to support Ford's broader global operations.
