News from Huatai Motors said that a total investment of 3 billion yuan, with an area of 5.5 million square meters of Huatai Motors automotive diesel engine and vehicle production base is about to be completed. It is said that once the projects are completed, Huatai Automobile will become the largest diesel engine manufacturer in China; its annual production will reach 100 million units.
According to the reports, Huatai Motors automobile is planning of producing clean-diesel engines covering a series of engines from1.5L to 2.8L, and these engines will power domestic auto manufactured models such as Huatai Motors as well as overseas diesel autos.
