The filing reveals Zhang currently holds 377,980 shares in Changan Automobile. The company will manage this stake in strict accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies to ensure compliance with disclosure rules for listed companies.
Changan moved quickly to name a successor. The automaker appointed Ni Erke as chief accountant and board secretary, while also nominating him as a candidate for director.
Born in 1973, Ni holds an EMBA and carries the dual titles of senior accountant and senior economist. He is a seasoned executive with deep expertise in both financial operations and corporate management.
Ni's career is deeply rooted in the Changan system. He previously served as deputy director and director of Changan Automobile's finance department, building extensive experience in core financial roles.
He later transferred to Chongqing Nanfang Motorcycle Co., where he served as assistant to the general manager, head of the division's finance department, and chief accountant—gaining deep insight into the financial operations and strategic management of the motorcycle business.
More recently, Ni shifted to Changan Automobile Finance Co., serving as chairman of the supervisory board, deputy party secretary, and discipline inspection secretary. These roles broadened his perspective on financial risk control and corporate governance. Now returning to headquarters, he is set to fully assume the dual responsibilities of chief accountant and board secretary.
The filing noted that Ni currently does not hold any shares in Changan Automobile. His appointment as director requires approval from the shareholders' general meeting, with the process currently underway.
Market analysts view the move as part of an orderly management rotation at Changan. Ni's composite background in finance, financial services, and corporate governance should help him adapt quickly and ensure a smooth transition in financial reporting and disclosure.
Overall, the executive reshuffle falls within the scope of normal personnel succession. Changan's governance structure remains stable, and business operations are unaffected.
