Gasgoo Munich-Futuring Robot recently closed a new funding round. That brings the startup’s total to three rounds exceeding 1 billion yuan over the past six months.
The round drew backing from nearly 10 prominent institutions and corporate investors, including ByteDance, Inovance Capital, Guofang Venture Capital, Denning Capital, and Nice. Existing shareholders also doubled down.
Founded in 2022, Futuring Robot is a key player in China’s consumer home robotics market. Unlike peers that raise capital on single-point technologies, Futuring Robot’s strength lies in a complete closed-loop ecosystem: spanning AI brain models and hardware design to real-world household data, mass production, and retail sales. This end-to-end capability creates a formidable dual barrier of technology and data.
The company has rolled out two models, the F1 and F2, with the latter launching in April of this year. In May 2026, Futuring Robot unveiled its next-generation Self-Evolving WAM brain and deployed it into the F2.

Powered by its Self-Evolving World Action Model (WAM), the F2 recently demonstrated its capabilities at WRC 2026 by cooking spaghetti bolognese end-to-end in seven steps—a leap from light chores to heavy-duty tasks.
On the deployment front, Futuring Robot units are already operating in over 500 homes nationwide, handling high-frequency needs like basic chores, childcare, elder care, and pet care around the clock.
The company’s core technical team now numbers nearly 200, with key talent hailing from top universities like Carnegie Mellon University, the University of California, Berkeley, and Tsinghua University, as well as major tech giants. Expertise spans the robot brain, control algorithms, hardware R&D, and mass production.
