China may consider extending tax cuts designed to boost automobile sales in the nation, the China Securities Journal reported today, citing Ministry of Industry and Information Technology spokesman Zhu Hongren.
The government may also expand measures that encourage automobile and home appliance sales in the nation's countryside, the Beijing-based newspaper reported. China will next draft policies aimed at increasing incomes, the report cited Zhu as saying.
