January 14 (China Car Times) Fisker Automotive are coming to China in the second quarter of 2010 according to earlier reports that say the Karma model will be one of the first Fisker models to hit the Chinese market, China Car Times has learned that Fisker are planning for sales of around 3000 units in China once market entry has been completed, possibly a tall order but perhaps they can do it if they are priced low enough to be attractive to consumers.
Patents for the Fisker have already been put forward to China’s patent office, which has subsequently sprouted a leak and they have ended up on the internet. Chinese automotive media outlets are already guessing the market price of the Karma and the hive minds seems to be guessing at around 1 million RMB when launched which seems to be a fair price to China Car Times.
