Individual consumers who transfer ownership of a registered passenger vehicle are eligible for subsidies. They must purchase a new energy passenger vehicle listed in the tax-exemption catalog. Alternatively, they may purchase a fuel passenger vehicle with a displacement of 2.0 liters or below. The subsidy covers 8% of the purchase price for new energy vehicles. It is capped at 15,000 yuan. For fuel vehicles with a displacement of 2.0 liters or below, the subsidy is 6%. It is capped at 13,000 yuan.
