Guangzhou-Fiat to make "C-Medium" sedan in 2012

Shanghai, May 24 (Gasgoo.com) Changsha-based Guangzhou-Fiat joint venture, founded on March 9, 2010, has nailed down its product planning recently and its first car model, codenamed C-Medium, will be put into production in 2012, media reported.

The C-Medium car is a newly designed mid-class sedan, which carries a 1.4L turbocharged engine and the dual dry clutch transmission (DDCT), reaching the most advanced level of its kind globally. The new car, with a fashion design and excellent performance, will be locally produced from mid-2012.


Linea

Moreover, the Linea car, specially designed for the Chinese market, will start production at the end of 2011, the Guangzhou-Fiat joint venture told reporters.
