Shanghai. December 20 (Gasgoo.com) – Guangzhou Toyota’s 500,000th engine rolled off assembly line last week, Chinese media reported today.
"It takes us only two years and one month from the first engine to the 500,000th engine rolling off assembly line,” said Zhang Youfang, Chairman of Guangzhou Auto Group. “This is a miracle in the history China’s auto industry and Toyota’s overseas expansion.”
Guangzhou Toyota Engine Co LTD was founded in February 2004. It produces 1AZ-FE2.0L and 2AZFE 2.4L for Camry vehicles produced in Guangzhou Toyota.
