Gasgoo Munich-Gasgoo has learned that Horizon Robotics and BICV Technology signed a strategic partnership agreement on April 22. The two parties will deeply integrate "AI plus Beidou" full-stack technical capabilities with a single-chip central computing architecture. Together, they aim to build next-generation intelligent vehicle solutions that offer high integration, superior performance, and cost-efficiency — accelerating the evolution of vehicle intelligence into AI agents operating in the physical world.

BICV Technology is also among the first strategic partners for Horizon Robotics' Starry cabin-driving fusion vehicle intelligent agent chip solution. Through this collaboration, BICV Technology will be the first to adopt the Starry chip platform, breaking down traditional hardware barriers between "smart driving" and "cockpit" systems. By utilizing a single-chip integrated design, the companies will merge complex computing power and deeply integrate functions.
In this process, BICV Technology will leverage its full-stack advantages — spanning Beidou high-precision positioning, smart cockpits, AI agents, intelligent connected terminals, and automotive-grade system integration. By coupling these strengths with Starry's ultimate computing power, the two will engage in joint R&D focused on core scenarios such as multi-modal interaction, coordinated cabin-driving control, and edge-cloud integrated services. They plan to deliver a complete matrix ranging from underlying hardware adaptation and middleware development to upper-layer application ecosystems, helping automakers significantly shorten development cycles and seize the opportunities presented by central computing architecture upgrades.
Estimates indicate that Starry can reduce per-vehicle hardware costs by 1,500 to 4,000 yuan through unified compute pooling and domestic hardware design, injecting strong momentum into the mass adoption of smart driving.

Beyond BICV Technology, Horizon Robotics has also partnered with Pateo Connect, which has signed on as one of the first customers for Starry (Horizon Starry®).
According to the cooperation agreement, Pateo Connect and Horizon Robotics will deepen collaboration across four key areas:
In the realm of cabin-driving integration, the two will explore cost-effective domestic solutions and push for their mass production in flagship models from mainstream automakers.
On the smart driving business front, the companies will cooperate deeply to support the coordination of smart cockpit and intelligent driving functions. This will equip vehicles with agent-like capabilities such as cross-modal understanding, continuous planning, and full-scenario self-adjustment, transforming cars from automated products into intelligent platforms capable of active learning and autonomous action. Simultaneously, they aim to drive mass production of this platform in cost-effective models for mainstream automakers and provide solutions for overseas markets.
In the robotics sector, the partners will build a highly reliable, low-latency, and strongly coordinated intelligent control system. They plan to scale technological applications across scenarios like smart mobility, home services, and commercial services, working together to create a new ecosystem that fuses smart vehicles with embodied intelligence.
Regarding global expansion, the two will share premium customer resources both domestically and abroad. They will jointly map out an international strategy, develop solutions tailored to local needs, and expand their supply to global automakers.
