Gasgoo Munich- On the evening of March 11, OPmobility announced a structural overhaul of its Group Executive Committee, alongside key executive appointments. The reshuffle centers on sharpening customer focus, fortifying core competitiveness, and accelerating regional growth. The goal: to execute a diversified mobility strategy across technology, geography, and clientele—better positioning the group to navigate the shifting tides of the mobility industry.

To support Chief Executive Officer Félicie Burelle in executing the group’s strategic blueprint, Christian Kopp—a 19-year veteran who has held several key management roles—has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. His mandate: zero in on customer-centricity and bolster competitiveness to drive both growth and performance.

Under Burelle’s leadership, Kopp will drive OPmobility’s global sales strategy and orchestrate collaboration across regions and business units. The aim is to bring customer needs closer to the core of operations. He will also lead the Exterior Systems business, accelerating synergies and strengthening integrated product solutions—with a particular focus on the core "One4you" product line.

Christophe Marceau has been named President of Exterior Systems & Lighting, while Guillaume Ebner takes the helm as President of the Modules Business Unit and joins the Group Executive Committee. Both will report directly to Kopp.

On the competitiveness front, Kopp has established a new Performance Center designed to boost operational efficiency, shore up manufacturing and supply chain capabilities, and enhance engineering, project execution, and supply chain performance. Marc Perraudin has been appointed Executive Vice President of Engineering & Projects; he continues to report to Burelle as President of the Hydrogen Business Unit. Gérald Mentil becomes Chief Performance Officer. Both will report directly to Kopp.

Regionalization and technological diversification remain strategic pillars for OPmobility, prompting further adjustments. Marissa West, currently Chairman of North America, will now also lead the Modules business in the Americas. Youssef Souiba remains President of the Clean Energy Systems (C-Power) Business Unit but will now be based in Asia to strengthen the group’s presence and organizational structure in that key strategic region. Both executives will report directly to Burelle.

Turning to innovation-driven transformation, Abdul Khaliq was appointed Executive Vice President of Innovation & Software in late 2025 and joined the Group Executive Committee. Reporting to Burelle, Khaliq will leverage his deep automotive expertise and grasp of technological evolution to accelerate the development of new products and platforms.

"These appointments sharpen our focus on customer-centricity, core competitiveness, and regionalization," said OPmobility CEO Félicie Burelle. "They will enable OPmobility to implement its diversified strategy across global markets with greater agility and unity."
