Shanghai. March 20 (Gasgoo.com) – Ford Motor said it would bring 55 car models to the 10th Beijing Auto Show which starts April 20, China Securities Journal reported yesterday. With 55 car models and a total exhibition area of 550,000 square meters, Ford Motor will once again become the largest exhibitors at the 2008 Beijing Auto Show, the report said.

Shanghai. March 14 (Gasgoo.com) - Toyota's popular compact sedan Yaris will be released at Beijing Auto Show on April 20 and launched in Chinese market simultaneously, China's Jinhua newspaper reported today. The company said it plans to sell 35,000 Yaris vehicles this year in Chinese market or approximately 6,000 vehicles a month.

Shanghai, March 13 (Gasgoo.com) - Indian car maker Tata announced plans to display its low-cost Nano at the Beijing auto show next month, local newspaper Jinghua citing local India sources, reported today. Tata Motor's Chairman Ratan Tata unveiled the Nano last week in Geneva Auto Show. The "cheapest car in the world" is priced at $2500, cheaper than the popular Chery QQ, which is sold at $3900 in China. The launch raises concerns over potential impact of Nano on China's automobile industry.
