Gasgoo Munich-On April 21, Roewe unveiled the fruits of its strategic partnership with Volcengine: "Jiayue," the world's first AI-native vehicle series. Three flagship concept cars made their debut alongside the announcement.
Centered on the motto "Born of AI, Built for Families," Jiayue aims to put superior AI vehicles within reach of more Chinese households. The lineup features three models: the Jiayue 07, Jiayue 06, and Jiayue 09.

Unlike the industry's prevailing "AI-on-board" model, Roewe and Volcengine are charting a deeper course for AI-driven mobility. By jointly defining interaction experiences and co-developing an AI platform, the partners have established a more integrated, early-stage collaboration model. A joint R&D task force was formed at the very beginning of the design process. Guided by the "AI go first" philosophy, the team defined the product around AI interaction and smart cabin experiences. They are now deeply collaborating on AI-native architecture, intelligent cockpits, and vehicle-cloud integration to build a shared technological foundation.
To construct this AI-native vehicle, Roewe has overhauled everything from underlying capabilities to core technologies and overall architecture, deeply integrating the AI power of Volcengine's Doubao large model. This marks the first time a large AI model has been deeply embedded into a physical vehicle, enabling the scheduling, decision-making, and execution of physical devices. The move completes AI's leap from "internet scenarios" to "IoT scenarios," transforming the car into the most representative embodied intelligence terminal navigating the real world.
