600 Arms Output, 200°C Junction Temperature, Leadrive Technology SlimPACK-II Mass Production

Gasgoo Munich-On July 29, Gasgoo learned from Leadrive Technology that its next-generation SlimPACK-II power module and accompanying dual-inverter power brick have officially entered mass production. The Chinese power semiconductor supplier's breakthrough in underlying module technology is rapidly translating into scalable manufacturing capabilities.

The platform adopts large-area copper sintering instead of traditional welding, significantly reducing thermal resistance at the connection layer and demonstrating stability under rigorous thermal shock tests. For the chip's upper surface, copper bonding and a vertical heat sink design replace traditional aluminum wire bonding, lifting the junction temperature ceiling to 200°C. Covering a power range of 50 to 200kW, the SlimPACK-II delivers over 600 Arms of output current using just 165mm² of chip area, making it adaptable to scenarios ranging from main drives to auxiliary drives.

Building on the platform's extensibility, Leadrive Technology has simultaneously launched the SlimPACK-II-E module for small and medium power applications. This version is 20% smaller than the standard model, delivers a maximum output current of 450 Arms, and offers further cost optimizations—tailored specifically to the needs of auxiliary drives and generator domains.

Capitalizing on the module's strengths, the company introduced a next-generation hybrid dual-inverter power brick featuring an integrated architecture: the main drive uses the SlimPACK-II, while the generator side uses the SlimPACK-II-E. Comprising just four sub-components, the power brick is 30% smaller than its predecessor and boasts a power density of 92kW/kg. It also significantly streamlines the final assembly process, facilitating rapid mass production ramp-up.

Data from Frost & Sullivan shows Leadrive Technology ranks first in China for main drive power bricks by 2025 sales revenue. By May 2026, the company has secured 59 designations from 15 OEMs, covering 92 vehicle models. This production milestone further solidifies its competitive standing in the e-drive power module and integrated control sector.
