AGIBOT Adjusts Core Management During Critical IPO Phase

Edited by Yara From Gasgoo

Gasgoo Munich- On August 3, AGIBOT updated the core management team list on its official website, fully disclosing its governance structure for the first time, comprising nine partners and three independent non-executive directors.

The move comes just after the company announced in late July that it was launching its Hong Kong listing process. As the first major reshuffle of the core team since the IPO filing began, the adjustment has drawn widespread attention across the industry.

Compared with the previously announced partner lineup, three new members have been added: Xiong Yan, Zhu Jie, and Zhang Xiuzheng. Former partner and Chief Scientist Luo Jianlan has stepped down from the partnership.

As the new partner lineup was unveiled, rumors circulated that Luo Jianlan had left the company. Zhiyuan responded officially, stating that he has not resigned but has undergone an internal role adjustment, though specific responsibilities have not yet been disclosed.

Alongside the management shake-up, responsibilities and titles have been elevated. Jiang Qingsong and Yao Maoqing have both been promoted to co-founder and co-president, joining the board as executive directors. Jiang will oversee the operations system, while Yao takes the helm of the core embodied intelligence business line.

The three new partners also have distinct roles. Xiong Yan has been named co-president, managing central R&D and interaction business systems; Zhang Xiuzheng is responsible for the marketing and service system to drive commercialization; and Zhu Jie will oversee public affairs and brand development.

Notably, among the new partners, Xiong Yan and Zhang Xiuzheng are both veterans of Huawei. This further strengthens the Huawei DNA within Zhiyuan's team, while Zhu Jie fills gaps in government-enterprise coordination and branding capabilities.

At the board level, three independent directors—Cai Hongjun, Yang Changying, and Zhang Dan—were introduced simultaneously. Specializing in investment banking, international capital markets law, and financial and legal affairs respectively, they bring extensive capital operation expertise—a standard configuration for IPO preparation.

Industry analysts point out that the humanoid robot sector is currently in a critical transition phase from technological breakthroughs to scaled deployment. Zhiyuan's restructuring is not only a routine move to align with capital markets but also aims to accelerate mass production and scenario implementation by perfecting the full chain of capabilities in R&D, sales, and public affairs.

As of press time, Zhiyuan has not released further official statements regarding the team adjustment.
