Gasgoo Munich- Agibot has launched its Hong Kong IPO process, though it has not yet disclosed its sponsors, filing timeline, or fundraising targets.
The move signals that this leading domestic player—founded just over three years ago—is preparing to enter the Hong Kong market. It joins Unitree Robotics as another top-tier embodied intelligence firm moving toward an IPO.
Market sources indicate AgiBot may list in Hong Kong as early as August this year. Cornerstone investors are reportedly targeting a valuation between 40 billion and 50 billion Hong Kong dollars (roughly 34.6 billion to 43.3 billion yuan)—a significant increase from the 15 billion yuan valuation disclosed in 2025.

Founded in Shanghai's Lingang area in February 2023, AgiBot Innovation completed its restructuring into a joint-stock company and changed its name in November 2025. The company adopts a full-stack, self-developed approach, with a product lineup spanning humanoid, wheeled, and quadruped robots. Its core offerings include the Yuanzheng, Lingxi, and Jingling series.
As of June 2026, AgiBot has rolled out 15,000 embodied intelligence robots. In 2025 alone, shipments of its humanoid robots exceeded 5,100 units.
On the commercial front, founder and Chairman Deng Taihua stated that revenue has surged from 300,000 yuan in the first year to more than 60 million yuan in the second, surpassing 1 billion yuan in 2025. Driving this growth is the large-scale deployment of AgiBot's embodied robots across diverse scenarios, including 3C manufacturing and industrial production lines.
Deng stated that the company's target for this year is to achieve "several-fold growth."
On the capital front, AgiBot has completed over a dozen funding rounds since its inception. Its investor roster features top financial institutions like Hillhouse Ventures and Sequoia China, alongside strategic capital from Tencent, BYD, JD.com, and SAIC. Additionally, AgiBot previously entered the A-share market through the acquisition of STAR Market company Shanghai Swancor. A successful Hong Kong listing would further broaden its financing channels.
As leading players enter their listing cycles, China's humanoid robot industry is accelerating past the technology validation phase into a new stage defined by the convergence of large-scale deployment and capitalization. In this landscape, mass production capabilities and the speed of commercialization will become the decisive metrics for valuation differentiation among market players.
