Gasgoo Munich- Chery's AiMOGA robotics unit held its global launch in Wuhu, Anhui on April 27 under the theme "Scenario-driven, Collaborative Co-prosperity." Chery Group Chairman Yin Tongyue took the stage to outline the automaker's strategic vision for its expansion into the robotics sector.
The event showcased AiMOGA's full product lineup, ranging from the humanoid Moyin and robotic dogs to smart police and medical guide units. Notably, the smart police robot secured orders for 1,030 units and delivered 110 units in a single batch.

Yin emphasized that Chery's key advantage lies in the shared DNA between robots and smart vehicles—specifically in perception, planning, and control. "Smart cars are essentially mobile robots," he noted. He outlined three core objectives. The first is refining reliability, cost, and lifespan to enable mass production. The second involves testing products across more than 100 real-world scenarios in over 50 countries. Finally, the company aims to achieve 100 smart police robot deliveries and 1,000 orders. "This marks AiMOGA's full entry into a new stage of large-scale commercial application," Yin said.
The newly delivered smart police robots are already operational across multiple scenarios. These include school crossings in Wuhu, the Jiangyin Marathon, and events in Changzhou. They handle traffic guidance, parking enforcement, and event security to supplement police forces. Moving from pilot trials to 1,000-unit orders signals a critical leap for AiMOGA from technical validation to large-scale deployment and commercial operations.
AiMOGA also unveiled the "Qizhijiatianxia Robot Leasing Platform," aiming to lower entry barriers through leasing, financial services, and operational support to accelerate adoption across industries. Simultaneously, the company partnered with 100 universities to launch talent development programs, solidifying the workforce foundation for the industry's long-term growth.
Zhang Guibing, General Manager of AiMOGA Robotics, unveiled a new strategic vision: defining technical direction through specific scenarios and validating product value through real-world application. The roadmap outlines three phases—starting with child companionship robots, expanding into public and corporate services, and finally bringing robots into households as intelligent daily assistants.
Leveraging Chery's automotive sales network across more than 130 countries, AiMOGA is rapidly building a multi-dimensional channel system comprising specialty stores, 4S dealerships, and retail outlets. This strategy aims to propel China's embodied intelligence technology from Wuhu onto the global stage.
