Amap's Auto Services Unit Launches Full Vehicle Lifecycle Service Solution

Edited by Taylor From Gasgoo

Gasgoo Munich-Amap Auto Services, a unit of Amap Auto, has launched a service solution spanning the full vehicle lifecycle — from selection and purchase through use, resale, and trade-in — to build a spatial intelligence, end-to-end AI marketing ecosystem.

To date, Amap Auto Services has partnered with more than 50 leading domestic and international automotive brands, with its network of offline partner stores exceeding 15,000 locations.

To improve the car-shopping and store-visit experience, Amap Auto Services launched an AI-powered car-browsing map on April 28. The feature integrates data on brands, commercial districts, stores, and vehicle models — enabling users to look up model information, filter offline dealerships, and plan navigation. It simplifies purchase decisions while driving steady foot traffic to automaker stores.

Addressing industry pain points such as vague commercial district mapping and difficulty finding stores, Amap Auto Services has introduced a Flyover Street View feature powered by its proprietary world model. The tool renders realistic views of stores, charging stations, and other locations, letting users preview destinations in advance. During the Beijing Auto Show, users searching relevant keywords in the Amap app could view exhibition stands in 360 degrees — attending the show virtually without leaving home.

Leveraging its massive user base, Amap Auto Services has built a direct growth system linking automakers with consumers. It integrates vehicle information, store events, purchase subsidies, and other data — using geolocation to deliver precisely targeted traffic. The business has also expanded into the automotive aftermarket, covering charging, maintenance, and used cars. With access to more than 450,000 public charging piles, it connects car purchases with high-frequency daily services, helping automakers maintain long-term user engagement.

Additionally, Amap Auto Services has integrated the Qwen AI assistant to provide car-buying and ownership guidance through intelligent conversation. A company spokesperson said the team will continue deepening AI capabilities and its full-scenario ecosystem, refining the full-lifecycle service chain.
