Gasgoo Munich-Anyverse Dynamics plans to launch pilot operations for its humanoid robots in South Korean commercial settings—such as coffee shops—during the fourth quarter of 2026. Founder and CEO Zhang Yufeng revealed the timeline during an exclusive interview with South Korea’s Chosun Ilbo at the 2026 ZGC Forum Tech Innovators Conference. Previously, the company partnered with Korean coffee chain HOLLYS to create an open test environment, verifying the robot's ability to handle tasks like drink delivery amid real-world foot traffic.
On the technology front, Anyverse Dynamics is building an embodied general-purpose brain using a "Latent Space World Model + Reinforcement Learning" approach, alongside a proprietary 7-billion-parameter model that runs directly on the robot. Its first humanoid robot, the K15, arrived at a factory in France in September and is set to take on tasks such as loading and unloading components and transporting materials. Zhang Yufeng noted that 2026 marks the inaugural year for humanoid robots to become truly "work-capable." The company follows a strategy of honing skills in industrial settings before refining generalization in commercial ones, aiming to bring robots into households within two to three years.
Public records show that since its inception just over a year ago, Anyverse Dynamics has raised more than $200 million. Investors include HongShan, Hillhouse, Horizon Robotics, and the Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund. To date, the company has secured global orders totaling 700 million yuan.
