Gasgoo Munich-AUMOVIO recently marked the rollout of the 200,000th unit of its next-generation software-defined vehicle (SDV) products at its Changchun Jingyue plant, celebrating alongside partners. The event also doubled as the launch ceremony for a new production line.

As a vehicle architecture enabler, AUMOVIO has earned market recognition for core products like high-performance computing units (HPC) and zone control units (ZCU), driven by leading production scale and platform capabilities. Globally, cumulative production of its zone controllers has surpassed 6.5 million units—including over 2 million delivered in China—a testament to its competitive strength.
AUMOVIO described the milestone as a fresh starting point. Looking ahead, the company said it will keep innovation at its core, deepen its technical expertise, and build more competitive core system solutions.
AUMOVIO China traces its roots to the Continental AG automotive subgroup, which entered the market in 1994. With over three decades of experience in the Chinese auto industry, the company now operates 12 production bases and five major R&D centers nationwide, employing roughly 9,800 people as of the end of August 2025. Leveraging a localized R&D, production, and value chain system, AUMOVIO provides customized solutions for domestic and international automakers, driving the evolution of automotive electrical and electronic (E/E) architectures and empowering innovation in the intelligent connected vehicle sector.
