Gasgoo Munich-BMW Group confirmed on April 8 that it is heading to the Auto China 2026 with its largest lineup ever. The three brands—BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad—will unveil 16 new models, including four global premieres and eight China debuts.

The spotlight falls on a dual push in both flagship and electric vehicles. The all-new BMW 7 Series and its electric counterpart, the BMW i7, are set for a global premiere just ahead of the show. The automaker says both models feature a breakthrough cluster of "New Generation" technologies, aiming to redefine the very concept of luxury.

Another pair of global debuts consists of the New Generation BMW iX3 and BMW i3 long-wheelbase versions, both tailored specifically for the Chinese market. According to BMW, these models don't just carry the full suite of New Generation technologies; they also integrate Chinese-specific intelligence, AI, and localized scenarios. The goal is ambitious: to be "the best-driving smart EVs, and the smartest in their driving DNA."

During the event, BMW’s booth will feature a Dolby Atmos cabin experience zone and a dedicated customization area. Industry analysts view this wave of launches as a signal that BMW has officially entered a major product year in China, marking the first comprehensive rollout of its New Generation technology cluster in the market. The Auto China 2026 runs from April 24 to May 3.
